Under the new education policy brought by the central government last year, the scheme of saffronisation of education is now taking a more concrete form. In this regard, in Yogi Adityanath-ruled Uttar Pradesh, the books written by Yogi Adityanath and Ramdev will now be taught. The committee formed to implement the new National Education Policy in Uttar Pradesh, whose job is to see the common minimum syllabus in line with NEP 2020 for universities and colleges across the state, has proposed books written by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and yoga guru Ramdev for Philosophy students in universities.The Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut, run by the state government, has already included these books in its syllabus. Adityanath’s “HathYoga Ka Swaroop Va Sadhana” and Ramdev’s “Yoga Sadhana Va Yoga Chikitsa Rahasya” will now be part of the second-semester undergraduate philosophy syllabus at the university. In the book “Yoga Chikitsa Rahasya” which has been included in the syllabus, yoga guru Ramdev has claimed to cure all diseases through yoga. Philosophy students will now read Ramdev and Adityanath along with Plato and Aristotle!
Irrational and unscientific things of Baba Ramdev and Yogi Adityanath are not hidden from anyone. This whole fascist troupe and its rhetoric keep on throttling the logic of science. Because of his stupidity, Baba remains in the headlines every now and then. During a program recently, Ramdev said, “People in India are dying not due to corona infection but due to the treatment by allopathy. The modern medical system is changing the way of treatment every time, so it is useless today.” However, Baba had to withdraw his statement after the voice of protest all over the country.
This person, who is making fun of the people dying of lack of oxygen and the modern medical system, gets himself treated in the hospital AIIMS with all the modern medical system when he falls ill! The specialty of Baba Ramdev is that he is an expert in making hollow claims, spreading lies and unscientific things. In the time of this terrible epidemic of Corona, the yoga guru had claimed a complete cure for Covid infection by launching the ‘medicine’ Coronil, the reality of which was exposed by the scientific community at that time asking for a paper related to this claim. In spite of all their criminal negligence, they were not punished. In the name of treatment of diseases, Ramdev is constantly playing with the lives of people. Under the guise of misleading and unrestrained claims of treatment, businessman Ramdev is trying to expand his business. It is clear as daylight that Baba Ramdev is engaged in fulfilling the agenda of the Sangh Parivar and the BJP, so he says all this without any fear.
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, is engaged in fulfilling the agenda of Hindu Rashtra by doing the work of saffronisation of education in his state rapidly. In the colleges and universities of Uttar Pradesh, the politics of communalism is being propagated through changes in the curriculum as well as by ending scientific activities. Ajay Singh Bisht, who once became a self-proclaimed judge and freed himself from all crimes, has become a self-proclaimed philosopher this time. Now books on Philosophy written by him are being included in the universities of his state. The condition of schools, colleges and universities of Uttar Pradesh is very bad. Instead of paying attention to this, the Chief Minister is trying to infiltrate his people in various institutions as per his Sanghi agenda.
Since coming to power, the Modi government is engaged in the work of saffronisation of education. In August 2014, under the leadership of Dinanath Batra, a committee named Indian Education Policy Commission was formed by the RSS. The purpose of which was to saffronize the education system. The ‘New Education Policy’ was brought, apart from taking education away from the poor working people and making it a commodity for sale, so that the work of saffronisation of education could be carried out non-stop. This work is being done in educational institutions across the country. Just a few days ago, a person like Kapil Mishra with a criminal character, a rioter who gave provocative speeches, was called for an online lecture at IIT Bombay. In his entire statement of this program, Kapil Mishra told the engineering students, “How long the Hindus have struggled to make their identity, so the work of taking it forward will have to be done by the Hindus by all means.”
Fascists always work to spread lies and hatred and poison in the minds of people through changes in education. Modi government is also doing the same thing today. Disha Students’ Organization opposes the changes in the courses being done by the Uttar Pradesh government. Along with this, we demand the withdrawal of books by these criminals spreading irrationality and superstitions. Today, it is necessary that we unite the student and youth population and create a massive movement against the saffronisation of education.
